integration issues, were ignored or taunted by their peers. Their dad intervened
and came up with the idea for the brothers to form a band because he had read
about music promoting brain development. For them and their parents, music
changed everything.
Through their music, the two brothers
were able to find a socially acceptable way to communicate and connect w/ fellow
students and the world. Also, being in the band has helped Evan's speech
impediment and with younger brother Cameron's severe autism too.
Their band, Jet Fuel Only, whose members include sixth and seventh graders, host
sold out performances in the area surrounding their hometown, Chico, CA.
